Faith Presbyterian Church - Perth (FPC) started its first worship service in Osborne Park Ambulance Hall in 1999. The church moved to Dianella Community Centre, 18 Kerry Street, Dianella since June 2005.

Under the leadership of Rev Errol Stone and Elder Harold Watkins, the Session has seen congregation numbers grow over the years. The Lord has led many international students studying in local universities to worship at FPC over the years. The ministry to these students is a vital part of the church’s service. Along with the ministry to the students, the growth of the Sunday School has been a blessing to the church community. The church has also seen many souls brought to repentance and salvation in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ over the years. All glory and praise be unto God!

Each Sunday, the church begins at 9.15am followed by the worship service at 10am. During the worship service, the children begin Sunday School in a separate room.

Apart from worship services every Sunday, the Young Peoples’, Adults’ and Ladies’ Fellowships meet on a regular basis throughout the week. Prayer meeting is held every Tuesday in Pastor’s home.

The church has also started an outreach to Grand View Aged Care facility in Joondalup recently. Members of the church also go on hospital and home visitations. These outreaches are also important parts of the church’s ministry.
We believe in the Triune God, eternally existing in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit, eternal in being, identical in nature and equal in power and glory and that salvation is by grace alone through faith in Christ alone.

The King James Version (KJV) of the Bible is the only English text we accept and is out sole authority for faith and practice.

We believe a local church is a congregation of baptised believers observing the ordinances of Christ; baptism and the Lord’s Supper; that its officers are Pastors, Elders and Deacons whose qualifications, claims and duties are clearly defined in the Scriptures (Acts 20:17, 28-32; 1 Tim 3:1-3; Titus 1:5-11)

We believe the local church has the absolute right of self government whose one and only supervisor is Christ through the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Cor 15:4), in His ascension into Heaven (Mark 16:19; Luke 24:50-51; Acts 1:9-11), and in His exaltation at the right hand of God, where He intercedes for us as our High Priest and Advocate (Rom 8:34; Heb 4:14; 6:20; 7:25);

We believe the substitutionary death of the Lord Jesus Christ and his bodily resurrection as the only way of salvation through faith (Ex 20:3; John 14:6; Acts 4:12);

We believe in the promise of the personal, visible, and pre-millennial return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ (that Jesus Christ will return and then reign on earth for 1,000 years) (Rev 20), that recognises the specific promises God made to Israel concerning restoration to their land, with the Temple rebuilt, will be literally fulfilled to the Israelites and not fulfilled spiritually in the Church;

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith, not by works (Eph 2:8-9), and that all who repent and receive the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour are born again by the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God;

We believe that Jesus Christ instituted the Ordinance of water Baptism for believers and the Ordinance of the Lord’s Supper, which Ordinance shall be observed by His Church till His comes;

We believe in the eternal security, bodily resurrection, and eternal blessedness of the saved and the bodily resurrection and eternal conscious punishment of the lost;

We believe in the real, spiritual unity of Christ of all redeemed by His precious blood, the necessity of faithfully maintaining the purity of the Church in doctrine and life according to the Word of God and the Principle and Practice of Biblical Separation from all unbelief and apostasy of the day including Romanism, Charismatism, Pentecostalism, Modernism, New Evangelicalism, New Age Mysticism, etc. being spearheaded by the Ecumenical Movement (2 Cor 6:14-7:1; Rev 18:4).

In upholding the truth of God’s Word, we promote sound biblical doctrine and protect both God’s name and “FAITH PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH - PERTH”, from detractors and enemies from without and within.
